Webrecorder is a tool designed to archive web content interactively. It captures web pages as you browse, creating a record of what you see on your screen, including complex dynamic websites and social media content. This allows for preserving web content in its live state, making it possible to view it later exactly as it was, even if the original web pages change or disappear from the internet. Webrecorders intends to support the creation of lots of small, decentralized archives by individuals and institutions and try to save the web as it was, archiving the technical components of web pages and the user experience.
