CEO and Founder, Equitable Data Solutions
Stephanie E. Farquhar is the CEO and Founder of Equitable Data Solutions, where her work focuses on how leaders and their teams interpret, communicate, and lead with data and AI, and on how data and AI systems count, and miss, the communities with the least power to push back. In 2024 she was a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow detailed to the Office of Management and Budget, where she supported federal agencies implementing the Executive Orders on responsible AI and environmental justice. Before that, she was an inaugural member of Google’s Health Equity team. At the New York City Health Department, she was Director of Research and Evaluation for the Center for Health Equity, where she co-founded the Data for Equity initiative. She holds a Ph.D. and M.H.S. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she was a Sylvia and Eddie Brown Community Health Scholar, and a B.A. from New York University.
